the weekly report. 001.
what we're loving, screenshotting, styling, etc. this week.
This week was seriously a week of really high highs and really low lows — hello Nashville ice storm. But some weeks are just like that! We hit 10K on our Instagram this week, which has been one of our biggest goals since starting Poema. When we started our business, you had to have 10K followers on Instagram to be able to have the ‘swipe up for links’ feature. Instagram changed their tech and so we ended up being able to link items shortly after we started, but I guess that number has always felt so big in our minds and we’re just really excited. Thank you so much for following along — we say it all the time, but it truly does mean the world to us! Xx
favorite look I styled this week
Correction: looks. I updated this section of our website, which is basically where my dream outfits live. I think I will die if I do not spend my monthly clothing budget on this new b+w pattern of the Simon Miller Beep Beep skirt.
something I learned about style + fashion
I watched the Dries van Noten documentary this week and learned that I want to play with print mixing a bit more. My friend Lindsay Alexander is the queen of pattern mixing, hence, the name of her Substack, Mixed Prints. You should definitely subscribe for inspo.
I also saw some print mixing that inspired me from Copenhagen Fashion Week. I saw an influencer wearing a chocolate brown + ice blue look with b+w polka dots and zebra print in the same look and it really inspired me to play around more with patterns in my own closet.
something I added to my wishlist

I’ve been looking for a chair for my bedroom — basically my ‘everything’ chair, the one I’ll put laundry on that I’ve been meaning to fold for eight days — and I found these three. I believe I found the fringe one from soco (aka sophie cohen) ! The white boucle one is super similar to a chair that was in our hotel room in Bruges, Belgium a few months ago that my husband loved. I’ll drop a photo below. And the middle one is my wild card — pun intended.

Belgian design inspo from Hotel van Cleef
something I styled for a client
Styled this chic look for a client for her TX Bachelorette in March!
We’re really going to try to make these weekly newsletters a consistent thing. We’re a one and two halves woman show over here so our clients come first and then everything else gets done when it gets done.
happy first day of february. longer days coming soon! xx
